Life in Sweden

Welcome to Life in Sweden! - also view Newcomers information (pdf file)

By Melina Antypas

Sweden has a lot of wonderment to offer and in this section we are devoted to all the ins and outs of Life in Sweden. Some of it is concrete stuff like conversions from U.S. to metric, while other stuff is more soft, like customs, behaviors, and trendy nightspots. We understand the enormity of the adjustments needed to live in a foreign country, whether it be temporary or permanent, and we have assembled some tips, information, and resources to make things as smooth as possible!

Wherever possible we have included web links to sites in English for your convenience and ease. We've all been there, and have learned things that we want to share to make life in Sweden as enjoyable as possible as soon as possible. So dig in and enjoy!
