AWC Virtual Lunchtime Event, January 19th, 13.00: Raft of Leaves

Grab your lunch and please join us for a virtual Zoom event on January 19th at 13.00 to discuss the recently published Raft of Leaves, an anthology from the Stockholm Writers Group in memory of Marti Parker. Some of the SWG authors will join us for readings, discussion, and remembrances of Marti, who was also a member of the AWC. Paperback copies of this small, lovely volume are available at the English Bookshop on Södermannagatan, and both paper and electronic copies can be ordered through the SWG website, stockholmwritersgroup.com. While the themes of the anthology are aging, death, and foreignness, we will consider the book’s upbeat and humorous aspects. In early January, further information and the Zoom link will be circulated to AWC members by email and posted to the member Facebook page.
