City Walk: “In Afro-Swedish Footsteps”

To commemorate the anniversary of the abolition of Sweden’s transatlantic slave trade, the National Organization of Afro-Swedish People (Afrosvenskarnas Riksorganisation) offers the public the opportunity to go on their popular city walk “In Afro-Swedish Footsteps.” In this walk, the focus is shifted from the perpetrators of the Swedish transatlantic slave trade to telling about the fates of the Africans who lived in Sweden during the years 1600-1800 when Sweden was part of the transatlantic slave trade. AWC members will join the public on this walk organized by the Afrosvenskarnas Riksorganisation. The price for participation is 100 kr per person, payable by card or swish when you register.
