We’re excited to announce that AWC members will be attending the Fantastika 2024 Convention at Kulturhuset Dieselverkstaden in Nacka.
“Science fiction and fantasy are sometimes combined into “fantastika”, and that is why the congress is called Fantastika. There are many descriptions of what fantasy is, but a simple one is that there is something in the story that is not realistic today. If it’s then likely done in some effective way, it’s sf, otherwise it’s fantasy. Horror also counts as fantasy. Above all, literature, film, television series and cartoons intended for adults, including “young adults” are covered.“
