GalleriDuerr Exhibition – GRAVITY by Joanne Grüne-Yanoff, Saturday, October 14, 15.30
AWC member Deborah Duerr has invited members of the AWC to the gallery’s current exhibition, GRAVITY, with Swedish-American artist Joanne Grüne-Yanoff, as well as to a special dance performance in the gallery in symbiosis with Joanne’s works, this Saturday afternoon, October 14, at 15:30.
The dance performance is with Kathleen Quinlan and 3 professional dancers that she has trained in the work of Isadora Duncan. It is going to be a beautiful performance. And Joanne’s exhibition is truly amazing and should not be missed!

Of interest is that Joanne holds workshops on the subject of home with marginalised women, women that have left their homeland for various reasons, be it war or be it love. The words that these woman have shared with her have been sewn into linen cloth by Joanne. This cloth is an integral part of Joanne’s exhibition and artistic practice.
The exhibition runs through November 3.
