Join on the closing day of Galleri Duerr’s current exhibition “The Women,” in which artist Helén Svensson and curator Ashik Zaman, continue a recently initiated exploration with allusions and glances back at contemporary art history. In “The Women,” the artistic contributions of three women take center stage: Judy Chicago, Carmen Herrera, and Louise Nevelson. “The Women” is understood as an homage to these trailblazing artists. Galleri Duerr, located in Stockholm’s vibrant gallery district at Hudiksvallsgatan 6, is a contemporary art space owned and directed by AWC member Deborah Duerr.
